• Mercedes-Benz Emergency Call: In the case of an accident when the airbags are deployed, your SUV will automatically call Mercedes-Benz Emergency Services. There is also an SOS button for emergencies.

 

Performance Features

 

The elegant design of the GLS is complemented with powerful performance features so that you have the perfect blend of agility and luxury. The GLS comes with three engine options that correspond with the three models.

 

The GLS 450 comes with a 362-horsepower 3.0-liter biturbo V6 that allows for a zero to 60 of 6.5 seconds. The GLS 550 can accelerate from zero to 60 miles per hour in just 5.2 seconds with a 4.7-liter twin turbo V8 that produces 449 horsepower. For the most impressive performance of its class, the AMG® GLS 63 leaps from zero to sixty in 4.5 seconds with a 577-horsepower 5.5-liter V8 engine.
